5th European PV Industry Forum
The PV Industry Forum on Wednesday, 3rd September 2008, is one of the key platforms of EPIA – the European Photovoltaic Industry Association on the occasion of the 23rd EU PV Solar Conference. It is realised jointly with WIP.
The EPIA Industry Forum is a key source of up to date infor-mation in the PV sector and is well recognized among PV pro-fessionals. After the great success of last year’s 4th Industry Forum, an increasingly high level of interest is expected in this event.
Spanish jounalist Belén Gallego will moderate the Forum that will cover the following key areas:
- Market development (demand and supply sides)
- Path to grid-parity
- Key note speech from special guest: Jeremy Rifkin“
Towards a 3rd Industrial Revolution lead by Europe and how solar photovoltaic electricity can be part of it”. Jeremy Rifkin is president of “The Foundation on Economic Trends”.
